Information Text on the Purpose and Scope of Data Processing
As Leak Sonar, we take measures to protect your personal data within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (referred to as KVKK or the Law). We process your personal data within the framework of KVKK and related legislation and as the “data controller” for the reasons and methods explained below.
The Information Text on the Processing of Personal Data by Leak Sonar has been prepared to transparently inform you about the identity of the data controller, the method and legal basis of collecting your personal data, the purposes for which this data will be processed, to whom and for what purpose it may be transferred, the duration of data processing, and your rights specified in Article 11 of the KVKK, in accordance with the obligation of the data controller to inform, as stipulated in Article 10 of the KVKK. This information text concerns third parties using our company’s website.

Method of Collection and Legal Basis of Your Personal Data
Your personal data may be collected orally, in writing, or electronically through automatic or non-automatic methods, via the Company’s affiliated units, website, social media channels, and similar means. Your personal data may be processed by being created and updated as long as your relationship with the Company continues, and may be stored both digitally and physically.
Your personal data may be processed within the scope of the purposes stated under the title “Processed Personal Data and Processing Purposes” and within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Article 5, paragraph 1 of Law No. 6698, providing explicit consent as a prerequisite or under the conditions and purposes of personal data processing specified in paragraphs “a, c, ç, e, and f” of Article 5, paragraph 2 of the same Law.
Processed Personal Data and Processing Purposes
Your personal data are processed securely in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law to fulfill legal obligations or to provide better services in the company’s business processes. Personal data are collected and processed for the following purposes:
- Receiving and evaluating suggestions for improving business processes
- Conducting post-sales support services for goods/services
- Carrying out the sales processes of goods/services
- Conducting communication processes
- Managing requests/complaints
Within this scope, the following data are collected as personal data:
Identity: Data containing information about the individual’s identity.
Name, Surname, Country of Residence
Contact: Data that can be used to reach the individual.
Email address
Personnel: This data category includes types of data such as Payroll information, Discipline investigation, Employment records, Asset declaration information, Resume information, Performance evaluation reports.
Reason for Application, Message Content
Transaction Information: Data group containing information about the individual’s transaction.
IP Address
Your collected personal data will be processed within the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698, including the following purposes:
- Carrying out the necessary work by our relevant business units for real and/or legal third parties (employees, partners, suppliers, business partners, etc.) who have a relationship with our company and/or our company’s affiliated centers and units to benefit from the products and services of our company and/or our company’s affiliated centers and units,
- Ensuring the life and property security and legal and commercial security of real and/or legal third parties, institutions, and organizations present in the business processes of the company or in the centers and units affiliated with the company,
- Carrying out inspection and/or regulatory duties to be performed by authorized public institutions and organizations and professional organizations with public institution status,
- Fulfilling legal and regulatory requirements arising from the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102 and all related secondary regulations and being able to take necessary measures within this scope,
- Fulfilling requests for information and documents requested by judicial authorities, consumer arbitration boards, and/or administrative authorities,
- Taking all necessary technical and administrative measures for data security, systems, and applications.
Your personal data will be transferred only when necessary in accordance with the purposes stated above, ensuring the appropriate level of security by taking all necessary technical and administrative measures in accordance with the KVKK and related legislation, to:
- Service Providing Hosting Company,
- Shareholders.
According to Article 8 of the KVKK, your personal data may be transferred upon obtaining explicit consent within the scope of the conditions stated in the second paragraph of Article 5 of the KVKK and the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Article 9.
Data Processing Period and Retention Period
Your personal data will be processed within the time limits stipulated in all relevant laws and other legal regulations to which our Company and our Company’s affiliated centers and units are subject, and will be processed by adhering to data processing and statute of limitations periods. In case of any changes in the data processing periods specified in the laws, the newly determined periods will be taken into account.
Your personal data are processed for the purposes stated in this Information Text and, in any case, within a limited period of time necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes stated in this Information Text and, in accordance with the principles of purpose limitation, as required by law periods, company practices, and commercial life customs, and are then deleted, destroyed, or anonymized. If you would like detailed information about the retention periods of your personal data, you can contact us via the addresses provided in the section on the rights of the data subject.
Rights of the Data Subject
As the data subject, you can exercise your rights listed under Article 11 of the Law by submitting your requests in writing to the email address [email protected] in accordance with the “Communiqué on Principles and Procedures for Data Controllers”.
